I am upgrading from XP to Vista. I would like to archive the messages in
Outlook Express, but still be able to read them, if needed. Is there a way to convert those dbx files to something compatible with Windows Word without having to import them into Windows Mail? |

Thunderbird uses MBox mailbox format which is just a big text file.... |

My extraction programs will save the messages as individual eml files, which
are text. (see DBXtract or DBXpress here: www.oehelp.com). Also, check out my OEX program which will let you import from a dbx file into WinMail directly. For more info on the differences, see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx steve "Ebbe B" <EbbeB@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2CC5F633-FFA5-4E39-B3E1-0367BA744933@microsoft.com... >I am upgrading from XP to Vista.
