Default Memory problem

Good Afternoon,

When trying to open or delete some messages in WM, I am receiving an error
message telling me "an unexpected error has been encountered." The error
message states that there is a problem with memory or the disk being full.
My computer is fairly new so I can't imagine that I have even come close to
filling my memory. Suggestions?

Thank you,
Bash

Exactly the same problem, also that one message in Outbox-folder stops all
other mails from being sent. Gotta use another account, which is quite
frustrating.

Windows Mail does not provide good error messages for most problems
caused by interference from antivirus programs or other security programs,
and such messages are often due to interference from an antivirus program.
What if any antivirus programs, antispyware programs, firewall programs,
and other security programs do you have?

Also, this hotfix often provides a temporary fix, so download and install
it with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version
of Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit version first.

A fix as been released by MS to resolve the problem of undeletable mails:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista"

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

It works for all folders.

Default Deleting messages-windows mail

With Windows Mail when I click on a message (any box) the message opens. I
would like to be able to click on a message and highlight that message so I
can delete it BEFORE opening it (as I could with Outlook Express). To open a
message I would like to double click. OR is there some other way with
Windows Mail to delete messages without opening them ?
Thanks

Ok, let me clarify...I am getting an error message re: memory. I am not
having difficulties deleting mail from my outbox. I am getting a bit
confused.
Are we talking about the same thing?

That temporary fix works for stuck messages in any of the Local
Folders. I don't know why the description mentions the Outbox only.

That error message referring to a problem with memory is incorrect
more often than it is correct, especially if you also have a message
you can't delete in any folder.
