Norton are advertising that their product is compatible with Vista. Is that
an untruth? If so should they be told? (or have they?) If it is not, all these remarks about them on this site makes things very confusing for the not so 'computer litterate.' Depends on how twisted their idea of compatible is. If it's twisted enough,
their products can fit it. They've been told many times, but don't seem to pay attention, just pay more PC makers to include trial versions of their products with new computers. Have you not heard the expression "Caveat emptor" (Let the buyer beware)?
It really applies for much of the third party security software. Most of it is sold by creating Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) in the gullible consumer. It is always best to get unbiased advice from people who are not selling you anything. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "sherbert" <sherbert@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A4FA3021-7E7D-446C-878D-C4BEF121FDC2@microsoft.com... > Norton are advertising that their product is compatible with Vista.
