You should check the connection settings for each of your mail accounts:

Tools menu>accounts>select each account in turn>properties>connection tab,
remove the checkmark from 'always connect using'>apply/OK.

Also in Internet Explorer>tools menu>Internet options>connections tab>ensure
that 'never dial a connection. is selected.

HTH?

Try this, go to Windows Mail>tools>options>general tab and disable send and
receive at start up>apply/OK.
Select file menu>work offline.

Close and reopen WM, now try the Connections tab on your account?

Not sure then.

Maybe a 3rd party interference.

Disable your AV or any other spam App's that you may have and try again?

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM!!! Couldnt get to the connection tab.

I exported the account, removed it, restarted Windows Mail, imported the
account, and BAM I could get to the connection tab!

Hope this helps someone!
