Live Mail - Emoticon Keyboard Shortcuts

Can emoticon keyboard shortcuts be "turned off" or changed.

I've no idea what the coffee cup emoticon is intended to convey, but to me
CC means Credit Card or Copies

Cc: means Carbon copies - an old term for extra copies sent to someone
other than the primary recipient, from back when carbon paper was the
primary means of making such extra copies.
