Hi,
The default is 15% of the drive, so what you are seeing is normal. Unless you have a need for drive space, I'd leave it alone. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "davidjchuang" <davidjchuang.3726e6@no-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:davidjchuang.3726e6@no-mx.forums.net... > > I was checking my current allocated restore size, and comparing from > what I saw in Shawn's tutorial, it seems a lot of space allocated on my > C drive. This is what it said in C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe : -- > " Used Shadow Copy Storage space: 11.695 GB > Allocated Shadow Copy Storage space: 14.542 GB > Maximum Shadow Copy Storage space: 14.882 GB " > Should I reduce the size or leave it as is ? Thank you > PS. My C drive has 99.2 GB > > > -- > davidjchuang |
