I built a new PC and installed Vista Ultimate on it today. I am not ready to
go online with it yet, need to do quite a bit of tweaking and moving stuff from my old PC. How long do I have to activate my OEM edition once I have installed it? Is there a time limit? Thanks. |

You have a thirty (30) day grace period from the time of
installation before activation would become mandatory. After the grace period ended, Vista would not permit you to log on without activating. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience - Windows System & Performance --------------------------------------------------------------- "MrKite" wrote: I built a new PC and installed Vista Ultimate on it today.
