itunes install

I got a brand new hp with vista. When I tried to install itunes it gave me
the following message. c:download/itunes.exe. is not a Win32 application.
Since then I have also tried to install google earth and other programs and I
get the same is not a Win 32 application or it may be opperation. What can I
do to get these programs to install

Right click the installation EXE file and select the 'Run As Administrator'
option from the menu.
