Slideshow gadget problem

After I partitioned my main drive, I moved the Pictures onto the second
drive. I also, because there's a number of card drives, restore partitions
etc that mess up the lettering, changed the letters of the drives to make
more sense.

The one thing that now doesn't work is the Slideshow gadget: if I select a
folder on a changed drive, it simply won't allow this to appear in its
address bar. Uninstalling and reinstalling it makes not difference. Any
suggestions?
