I have yet to read any post from any "Vista basher"
that is even close to the truth. Vista bashers often "generalize" or point to others who have some unique issues, and also cannot coherently write a simple statement describing any specific issue they themselves are having or the steps taken to troubleshoot the issue. As a Microsoft beta tester that installed almost every single beta build of Vista since its inception, I can reasonably state that most Vista issues are hardware related issues, and those issues are with the hardware itself or the initial badly-written drivers offered by the hardware manufacturer, the vast majority of which have been resolved in recent months. For a "real world" revelation, please view the following: Join Mark Russinovich and a panel of experts for a discussion on adopting Windows Vista into a desktop infrastructure. The panel features subject-matter experts and IT pros from around the world who have tackled Windows Vista deployment- hear about the challenges, workarounds, and tips & tricks they have learned along the way. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...x?ITPID=an3980g -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience - Windows Vista Enthusiast --------------------------------------------------------------- "Clear Windows" wrote: I see the MVP's attack us vista bashers that simply tell the truth, while at the same time, they are silent about Frank. Does this mean they approve of him? And if so, do they think like them? Does an idiot who supports vista deserve acceptance, while vista bashers who provide information to this newsgroup about how bad vista is deserve only name calling and rejection? I want an answer from the MVP's. Their silence only means they are Franks buddies, in other worlds you can behave like an ars, call people names, create noise and do everything a big fat troll does, but the MVPs don't care as long as he praises Vishhhttttaaa. |

If an individual follows the NG's "Rules of Conduct",
they are welcome to post in this newsgroup and are deemed "acceptable". If someone blatantly ignores these common sense rules, and simply wishes to display their immaturity and crudeness, and essentially act uncivilized and abusive, then I would view view their NG conduct "unacceptable". This applies to EVERYONE, including 'Frank'. Carey, you're so full of **** I can smell the stink of you right over Usenet. One such problem endlessly discussed here is Vista's **** poor file handling abilities. Something VERY WELL documented on countless web sites, forums and even acknowledged and admitted to by Microsoft. Something targeted in SP1 but only partially resolved. Ditto for UAC. Double Ditto for the constant failing of Media Player, Movie Maker, Windows Explorer to name just three problem areas. Of course true to form you remain totally unaware or deliberately ignorant of such issues. That is part is why everyone laughs at you. |

There is no doubt about both sides being off base here. There is the MS can do no wrong Ubuntu bashes club, and there are the antagonists just trying to get the fur up. I have even been guilty of scraping or two. Will do it again when I see unfair Linux/Ubuntu bashing. Having used about every PC OS since 1982 or so (except WinMe) I am not MS aligned, nor Ubuntu aligned. I even liked SCO ODT 2.0 in 1990 or so. Even adopted Win 3.1 over a Novell boot floppy for 200 PCs. I decided early not to put all my neurons in one technology. And had enough to go around for both. Teaching MSCEs how to interpretate netstat output is priceless. Lets persist. Only attack and rebut on clear MS-BS-FUD. They have a bit myopic well funded FUD machine out there. Keep it clean. Just kill file the Franks, they say what they are in their posts. No need to even read it. And as always, realize resistance is not futile. |

(which it is by the way... lol) You really are one very, very disturbed person. You need to get a life. Maybe get some help with your obvious mental problems and work thru you're open hatred of MS, Vista, BG & SB., et al. You've crossed the sanity line countless times in here and your ranting and raging over something that you have absolutely no control over really points to a person very much in trouble and in real need of mental help.
