Is there a "Go back" tool where I can reset everything back i.e. 1 hr, 1 day?

Yes you can go back to previous versions of files and folders, but not AFAIK
control the roll-back by specific time limits. Depending on your Vista version, for individual files and folders Vista Home Premium (maybe basic, don't know) - download ShadowExplorer - it's basic but it works and allows you to "extract" previous versions Vista Business, Enterprise, Ultimate - use the Previous Versions tab on File or Folder Properties (I don't know if there is a Previous Version tab at drive level...) If you are very technicall inclined see Adi Oltean's blog, particularly http://blogs.msdn.com/adioltean/arc...s-in-vista.aspx HTH -- Julian I-Do-Stuff Some Vista stuff, but mostly just Stuff at http://berossus,blogspot.com "Adriana" <Adriana@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3273E558-DFDB-4DF3-AD70-AA67BB3FD1D2@microsoft.com... > Is there a "Go back" tool where I can reset everything back i.e. 1 hr, 1 > day? |

A good backup plan would let you you do what you want with file shadows.
