After working on Vista for about a month, I had a window come up asking if I
wanted this huge list of words, phrases, websites, etc added to my system or dictionary (don't remember) I was really horrified at all the tracking going on. How can I disable this function? -- MH |

How can I disable this function? AFAIK this isn't a Vista function. At least I've never had this happen on any of my Vista installations or on those of clients. I suspect you have some other sort of "desktop search" program installed. Of course there's no way for us to know what that would be; you'll need to investigate by looking at your programs menu.
