Default What to delete in Windows Mail directory

I have Vista Home Premium and my Windows Mail as I have read is corrupted. I
read you have to delete the directory in
c:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail. Well it took it seem
like a life time to find this. I'm no computer wiz. I have about 20 items
in it. So what do I delete, some or all? I have file folder of Backup,
Compact, 4 Local Folders, 4 Microsoft Communites, Stationary, Acct
5A1D2500-Oe, Acct 62666543-Cd, edbchk, edb, edb00013, edbres0001,jrs,
edbres0002.jrs, oeold, WindowsMail.Msmess, and WindowsMail.Pat.
Heck, I'm really lost. I never have had to do something like this so soon
on a new computer. Actually I have never done anything like this before.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You...............Mel

As long as Windows mail is not running, you should be able to delete
everything you don't want to save (like any *.eml you want to save) and
restart WM to rebuild the folders.

Mark

So you are saying I can't delete everything that I have listed?
