If you copied from cd to hd you need to browse to the file in Explorer,
select properties and turn off the read only flag.
If however in copying the file you overwrote an existing pst you may have
corrupted the file & or any outlook profile

You removed the read-only attribute, correct?

If you see the error you report, then chances are the PST is toast and that
the toast was made when the CD was burned. The usual cause is that Outlook
was open when the PST was burned to CD, but I've seen anecdotal evidence
that some CD burning software simply doesn't handle PSTs well in any event.
You might be able to find a commercially-available PST repair application
that can correct the problem.
