Default Calendaring involving a Busy Search

I had a client report this to me recently:

"I have appointments on my calendar - they appear
when I open my outlook calendar, and I get reminders like I should.
However, when someone does a busy search to set up an appointment,
none
of my appointments show up - it looks like I'm free all day every day
(it is not hatched/grayed out like it can't find me - rather, it shows
up normally, but just like I don't have a single appointment
scheduled)."

Any thoughts on how to approach this? The client is on EX03/OL03, with
all the current patches and such.
