Default How do I know WHO scheduled an appointment?

We are running Exchange Server 2003 with clients running Outlook 2003. We
share our personal calendars with everyone in the office. Sometimes an
appointment will pop up on someone's calendar and they don't know who put it
there. Is there a way to find out?

I have already tried opening the appointment and clicking properties. It
shows when the appointment was made (or modified) but does not show WHO made
the appointment.

Thanks!

Bob

it should like the organizer field somewhere. you can also add that field to
the view (table view) or upgrade to outlook 2007 - it lists the organizer in
all appointments, much to the annoyance of many users.

Try adding the Organizer field to a table view.

Thanks for your response, Diane. I think we are getting closer. I added the
"Organizer" field under table view but it shows that the calendar owner is
making all of the appointments except for those where they were *invited* by
another calendar. In other words, if I am viewing someone else's shared
calendar at my desk, and I put an appointment on their calendar (not by
inviting), it will still list the calendar owner's name as the organizer
instead of me. Is there any way to see my name since I'm the one that put it
on there in the first place? I'm starting to think that I may be out of luck
on this one.

Also, where in Outlook 2007 do you see the organizer's name? I have Outlook
2007 on a couple of machines but I couldn't find the organizer.

Thanks!

Bob

in 2007 its right after the subject in the day/week/month view.

Do you have delegate or send as rights for the other user?

Thanks for helping me out on this, Diane. I was not able to find where I
could give delegate or send as rights for other users. I checked permissions
on the calendar (by right clicking on the calendar -> properties
->permissions) and I have everyone set up as "publishing editor" or "owner".
Could you direct me to where I need to set up delegate or send as rights?
Please be specific on where I need to go.

Thanks again!

That would be on the Exchange server side, not Outlook. What version of Exchange are you using?
