I have been altering my Outlook for the purpoese of time management and I
changed the default date on the Tasks to "None". Now, I want to change it back to today's date and not for the life of me can I recall where I changed that parameter. Can someone point me to this configuration detail? Thanks much. Locksley |

The only way I can think of that you can use to change the default on every
new Task's Due date is to edit the form. Regards Judy Gleeson MVP Outlook Trainer and Consultant www.pragmatix.com.au My suggested settings for Outlook 2003 are FREE on my website. .. What was the default before? Which version of outlook? Typically there isn't
a default date for tasks - but if you flag for to-do, you can set the default for the flag due date. Right click on the flag field and choose set quick click. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: dailytips-subscribe-request@lists.outlooktips.net Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "Locksley Young" <locksley@att.net> wrote in message news:B9FEABBE-67B1-4A6B-B83D-1AD7B75AE798@microsoft.com... > I have been altering my Outlook for the purpoese of time management and I > changed the default date on the Tasks to "None". > Now, I want to change it back to today's date and not for the life of me > can I recall where I changed that parameter. > > Can someone point me to this configuration detail? > > Thanks much. > Locksley > |
