Default SystemState

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if SystemState is available on PPC 2003 through
Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Status reference assembly?

Thanks,
D

No. The entire WindowsMobile namespace is only WM 5.0 and up.

Thanks Chris. I couldnt understand why I was able to add the references to
the PPC 2003 project, and even use the SystemState class, but when I ran the
test project in debug it threw an exception about the assemblies being
missing, even though they were copied to the output directory. Oh well, at
least I know for sure now.

Cheers!
D

We have a partial implementation of the SystemState class for PPC2003 in our
Mobile In The Hand 3.0 product (http://inthehand.com/content/Mobile.aspx).
It doesn't support system change events on PPC2003 but does give access to
most of the available properties. You can then program against the same
interface regardless of targetting WM 2003, 5.0, 6 or 6.1.

Thanks Peter, I'll take a look at that.
