When I rename a track to a different title, what settings do I need to
change so that when I change the track title in the user interface, ITunes will automatically modify the actual filename on the hard drive? The other issue is, I have 200+ tracks (only a portion of my collection) that have track, song, artist and album info, but would like to rename these track filenames to have the following naming convention: <TrackNum>-<SongTitle>-<ArtistName>-<AlbumTitle> ("TrackNum" is the number corresponding to the track number as it appears on the original CD) Is there a way to rename these 200+ in a bulk format using the above naming convention? Thanks. |

About 90% of my library are .mp3 files. I have approx. 10k files. Another couple hundred are .wav files (sound effects library) On another note, I have about 30 tracks I bought from ITunes (which I am having trouble burning to CD; I used to be able to burn them, but cannot now, due to some limitation. Wondering if this limitation is due to the fact that I bought them from ITunes instead of Amazon (?) RLN |

Batch work - well if you want to change each one to give an individual name, then batch work is out ...... ! For wav file, just go ito Windows Explorer, select teh file and change its title. What limitation ? Be more specific. Are they AAC files ? If so, Google for software and change them to wav files. Cheers, Jerry |
