Default automatically signing out


I'm being automatically signed out of Windows Messenger. I have it set to
show me as "Away" after 5 minutes of inactivity, but it doesn't even to that.
I'm being signed out with no rhyme or reason that I can figure out. Is there
a setting in Internet Options that I'm overlooking?

Greetings,

Assuming you're just using the public .NET Messenger service with Windows Messenger, I'd
recommend you use Windows Live Messenger instead. The protocol was changed years ago in MSN
Messenger (now Windows Live Messenger) to fix this problem in most cases:
