Unhappy services.msc not valid

When selecting Run and typing "services.msc" I get an error message saying "services.msc is not a valid Win32 application", it worked fine upto today.

Default

Apparently others have had this problem and have solved it by running it as follows:

runas /user:computername\admin "mmc %windir%\system32\services.msc"
