Default lost driver Canon eos 300d Windows XP

Hello there, I am new to the forun!
My teenage daughter has an eos 300d and we use windows xp pro on our compaq computer. She has lost the software which came with the camera, and now needs to use the camera for an open university course she is starting now.
The Canon website does not have this driver listed as available, and I have looked at other free download sites, but have drawn a blank on actually obtaining the drivers.
Would any of you please be able to direct us to the relevant site, please, as we are beginning to tear our hair out! many thanks!

Just to say that I have managed to locate a driver and sort it out! But many thanks for being available to ask!

phew! Yes, thanks, so was I! I had visions of my daughter having to start the course with our old Olympus, which is adequate, but not as nifty as the eos!!
I was so glad to find you all though!

For those who have Vista then Canon have released a 'codec' that can use Vista's Photo Gallery to view the RAW (.CR2) images ...

Thank you! I've had a look! It certainly looks worth investigating further!
Bye for now, Jules
