hi, recently been having problems.
windows saying 1 of my discs needs to be checked for consistancy.

checking file system on C...
type of file system ntfs...

chkdsk runs untill error occurs in index $300 for file 51900
then windows starts as usuall. internet very slow now, driving me mad.

i have a dell inspiron 1300
256 ram 60 gb.

im totally clueless when it comes to computers so sorry if im a bit vauge lol.

Hi can you tell us what make your hard drive disk is ? Get this if you have no idea and let us know .

hi, had a look in the device mahager and disc drive is.... FUJITSU MHV2060AH. hope that is the right info you need
