Installed Service Pack One, Just FYI. This Is Proof That All Copies Of
Windows Vista Sold Around The World Need 2 Be Recalled, Just FYI. 2 Out
Of My 3 Computer's Are Only About Approx. 1 Year Old (And They Are Both
X64 Compatible Duel Core Processor Machines), And They Both Slowed Down
Considerably After I Installed Windows Vista Service Pack One On Them,
Just FYI. This Slow Down Does Not Occur When I Install Microsoft Windows
Server 2008 RTM On Them, Also Just FYI.

Not really, I waited till yesterday morning to install, wanted to see some
early reports.

Of course there are some that have problems, any time a major update such as
this comes out, there will be some. It is the nature of the beast.

But I did not see that much here over that first day, not enough to concern
me, so I went ahead and installed and am glad I did.

My system seems to be a little snappier, although performance was already
pretty darn good on it. It certainly shuts down faster, sleeps faster, wakes
from sleep faster, and seems to be getting faster at booting up each time I
do ( I suspect the prefetch is rebuilding itself).

Perhaps you, should go ahead and switch completely to Ubuntu, then you can
go over to their forums and then preach to the choir...
