TY. You were absolutely correct. I had several offers of solution, but
yours was the most specific, informative and concise, not to mention the most accurate. I spoke with Verizon and they set me up with a new smtp. I figured I would then deal with Cox to see how I could recieve mail, but it seems at least for the time being, it has fixed both problems. Thanks again, Will......... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary VanderMolen" <gary@NoMail.invalid> Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2008 1:34 AM Subject: Re: Error Message: Windows Mail > Using a Verizon aircard means that the laptop is using a different > ISP then the one owning the SMTP server (Cox). Thanks for your laudatory comments, Will.
I believe in being concise and to the point. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Will" <willmorin@cox.net> wrote in message news:u5u8RkViIHA.5188@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > TY.
