This is the first time I tried to send a web link to a friend in need but
when I tried to see if it works before mailing it and it did not open the web on a click, but it will open it on copy and paste. The link was:- http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/encyclopedia.html What should I have done to make it open the web with a click on the address? |

The link will not work in a mail composition window, to test your link prior to sending the mail, save it to the Drafts folder Ctrl+S, test it there. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP : Mail. [DTS] UK. |

The link is not active in the compose window. Send the link to yourself. Can
you now open it? ------- *Report back, please* [When responding to posts, please include the post(s) you are replying to so that others may learn and benefit from the issue] [How to ask a question] http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 "Zygy" <zygy@microsoft.com> wrote in message news:O%23BuV9PiIHA.5724@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > This is the first time I tried to send a web link to a friend in need but > when I tried to see if it works before mailing it and it did not open the > web on a click, but it will open it on copy and paste. The reason it does not work in a composition window is that then you wouldn't be able to edit it. -- Frank Saunders MS-MVP IE,OE/WM www.fjsmjs.com Do not reply with email |
