Excel is "not responding" when I insert a column in "a" certain file. All
other excel files are working fine [I end up closing the program]. I emailed the same file to a co-worker and the excel file was fully functional on his machine. Unsuccessful attemps to fix the problem: 1. unstalling/restalling the office program confirmed that SP1/updates were not the issue 2. repairing excel 3. renaming the file 4. copying the information from one workbook to another 5. emailing the file to "the co-worker" and getting him to rename and send it back |

This is not a Vista problem as such, you would probably have far better luck
investigating the problem in one of the many newsgroups that specialize in Excel problems and software. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] rgharper@gmail.com * NEW!
