I have a chart with two y axes, one on each side, and a single x axis. Is it
possible to construct a chart with three y axes, e.g., units and dollar value on the left and percent on the right. Thanks. |

Hi,
Yes if you build your own chart axes. Have a read on Jon's page on the subject http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/TertiaryAxis.html Cheers Andy Kevin wrote: > I have a chart with two y axes, one on each side, and a single x axis. An easier to interpret option actually separates the data into separate
panels of the chart. This preserves the horizontal alignment of the series but removes the incorrect impression that the series somehow interact with each other (which is merely a consequence of how their individual axis scales were defined). http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts...evenScales.html - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Andy Pope" <andy@andypope.info> wrote in message news:OwiG2N8gIHA.5900@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Hi, > > Yes if you build your own chart axes. > Have a read on Jon's page on the subject > http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/TertiaryAxis.html > > Cheers > Andy > > Kevin wrote: >> I have a chart with two y axes, one on each side, and a single x axis. >> Is it possible to construct a chart with three y axes, e.g., units and >> dollar value on the left and percent on the right. >> >> Thanks. > > -- > > Andy Pope, Microsoft MVP - Excel > http://www.andypope.info |
