mouse hidding behind text in text box

My mouse is seeming to hide behind any text in a seach box, or other such
text boxes, i have disabled hide my mouse but it seeps doing the same thing.

What OS and what mouse? If you are running Linux, I suspect you have
some "mouse over" problem. In Windows, in any varian, I have no idea.
Did you reboot after disabling "hide my mouse"?

sorry, Vista home prem x64, with a logitech m310, drivers are the ones that
go with vista as per logitech. also, it seems like my mouse also hides in any
steam powered game, HF2 etc.
