I've recently been having problems with XP...I first noticed that whilst using my PC a few days ago webpages were not being displayed properly, if at all, because the text in the page was not there. If I click view>source i see all the right code, but it isn't displayed. After a reboot everything works again, but every now and then the problem arises again, and even some dialogue boxes are without text. Any suggestions, before I reinstall XP?

Hmmm, new one on me, you may have your security settings to high. Try setting it to medium/medium high ... you may find something here...

I'm afraid I havent heard of anything like this either
![]() What I would try before re-formatting is get all the updates from www.windowsupdate.com - it could do the trick!

i think it may be solved, i kept getting error messages saying a program called winktvk.exe was crashing. I searched on the internet but found no mention of this file, so i disabled it so it doesn't load at all, and haven't had any probs since. And my PC seems a bit faster....
thanks for the suggestions, i'll look into them if i find this isn't working |
