cannot shift objects off sheet error

I have deleted a text statement from a spreadsheet created in Word 2000. I
am now working in Word 2007. The deleted text reappears in the Word 2007
version when I preview or print the spreadsheet. There is no sign of the
text in editing mode. I am also experiencing the "Cannot shift objects off
the sheet" error message when I try to insert new rows or try to cut and
paste cells. I wonder if the two problems are related.
