Default IPod and Vista

I turned on my PC with my Ipod connected and it did not boot. All I got was a
black screen with the cursor blinking in the upper left corner of the screen.
Any suggestion?

I assume it works if your iPod is not connected? If so, you may need to
go into your computer's BIOS and alter the boot device order so that the
USB priority is below the hard drive.

Look in BIOS and make sure your Boot order is set right. Make sure that USB
devices is not in the list, or right at the end.
