I am putting together a really long form with specific information for 12
different travelers (name, address, etc. 9 fields for each traveler in all) The form results have these listed haphazardly. I've tried renaming each field hoping it would be alphabatized in the email results but it isn't working. Selecting html, text, formatted text, formatted text within html in the email options has not made any effect at all. Is there a way to edit the email results so that they are not so confusing? I would like to see the information listed for each traveler individually instead of all the names listed, then all the addresses, etc. Please help |

The data is sent to the email in the order they are listed in the form.
The resulting email from a form submission in FP is very basic. Are these 12 people going to be all in one place, and fill out the form in one hit? or is it a matter of each of the 12 will fill the form in at their own pace? Not sure of the circumstances of how the form is being used. Could you not have the one form, with only the nine fields (rather than 12 sets of nine fields in the one form) and then the 12 people will individually fill in the form which sends you the email; so you get one set of data from each person; also means of course you will get 12 emails (1 from each person) when they send the data from the form. All textarea fields will be listed in the email last, behind on other field types. This can not be
changed when using the FP Form Handler. The solution is to change the field type to text boxes, instead of scrolling text boxes (textarea) fields. -- ============================================== Thomas A. The form is to be used by an arranger. We would prefer this person would only
have to use one form to fill out as many travelers as he may have, especially since they would also have to fill out their own information at the top for each traveler before they fill out the individual traveler information. I've used a table to lay this out with each column being a different traveler. If I start the form all over again and make sure to enter the form fields in the order I want them to appear on the email would that make a difference? Any suggestions would be helpful. You can see the form at: http://www.conftvl.com/compasionate_service.htm Hope "Andrew Murray" wrote: > The data is sent to the email in the order they are listed in the form. > > The resulting email from a form submission in FP is very basic. > > Are these 12 people going to be all in one place, and fill out the form in > one hit? or is it a matter of each of the 12 will fill the form in at their > own pace? When using the FP Form Handler, the data is processed left to right row by row.
