Internet seems to tim e out to fast

New computer from e-machines with oem windows vista home premium.
When using dial up only one web page can be accessed at a time, the second
will come up Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. This happens with
opera, ie 7 and firefox. If the pages do manage to load they do not load
correct. There is a lot of white space as if the html is not working.
Sometimes I have to hit refresh several times to get the web page to load. it
doesn't matter what the web page is.

When I acces the internet through another copmputer sharing its connection
the same thing happens. If anyone else is accessing the internet from another
ccomputer then i am unable to access it at all. It is like it can't find the
dns server. All programs are affecte4d by this, ie yahoo messanger, any
program trying to update and all browsers. This is very frustrating as my xp
boxes have no trouble at all and e-machines is of no help without paying more
$. Since my windows is oem then Miucrosoft will not help without $. Please
help.
