I have the same issues.
I have S3 enabled in my BIOS, did so when installing a clean copy of Ultimate. The system goes to sleep for any period of time, 5 seconds to an hour. Then with the mouse turned off it starts back up without any interaction. The same with the Wake from LAN. This has to be a failure point in the system and hardware communication. What can be done? I haven't a clue at this point. This is an Intel 3 series board.
