Default RE: can't open attachments!


I have the exact same problem (windows mail crashes when I try to open any
attachment or save). I have scanned via avast. Have you found a solution (put
on a message here a few days back but apparently got burried)?

If you did the standard install for avast!, it may help to uninstall it and
then
do a custom install where you tell it to leave out the part that scans
email.

I uninstalled Avast and ran Windows Mail. When I tried to open an attachment,
it still crashed.
