Question GA-7N400E-L CPU upgrade, not booting

Hi, I've been running an XP3000+ CPU but have problems on upgrading to an XP3200+ The system fails to boot, in fact it does not even run POST, blank screen. The XP3200+ CPU is fine, I've put it back in the donor machine and all is ok. Replace my XP3000+ in my PC and just like for the XP3200+ it does not boot. I have experience with PC building and always wear anti-stat strap etc and am confident I have not damaged anything.
CPU Ration switches set to default CPU Clock switch set to 'on' - auto (tried 'off' as well but makes no difference)
Any advice appreciated
Many thanks
Andy

BIOS Ver - unknown as PC not booting M/B Rev - cannot see marking (SN0405517739)
1.5Gb PC3200 DDR400 RAM

This is one of the few occasions I would suggest ... reset the BIOS ... consult your MB manual on how to do so.

There should be a 'jumper' on the MB ... ang on a sec, it's gonna take 25mins to download the manual.
