Default Vista Premium & Winfax - are they compatible

I've been a long time user of Symantec's Winfax Pro faxing software/ When I
upgrade to Vista Premium will I still be able to use it?

If not, can anyone recommend a good fax software similar to Winfax?

Symantec's website doesn't even mention winfax anymore, so presumably it's
no longer made or supported

Ron

Not sure, I guess you have to try, you could take a look at the following
alternatives though:

FREE - - http://www.v3fax.com/freecc.htm

Better, but $30. http://www.snappysoftware.com/

My Winfax pro (Ver 10.3 I believe) didn't work with Vista. However I no
longer have significant numbers of faxes. I use the fax in Vista Ultimate
when required. Use the free software previously recommended by Andre. The
$30 package has always had good reviews.

I agree with Andre's 2nd item SnappyFax. It works great on this new Vista
Premium machine. I was a little disappointed when I found out that the fax
had been dropped out of this version of Vista, but with SnappyFax I can do
so much more. Well worth the $30.
