Default disable Flip 3D

How can I disable Flip 3D? I never use it and I don't want to expend the
memory to maintain it.

Simply don't use it, the graphics are already in memory so it doesn't cost
anything.

Simple: delete the Flip 3D icon in your quick launch, never press Windows
key + Tab. If you want to take it even further, simply enable the Windows
Classic theme.

That won't work on Home versions which don't have the Group Policy controls.

See

for another method that should work for all.

Thank you Andre Da Costa for your post. A few hours after my post, I
subsequently chose Windows Vista Basic under color schemes. Your post
confirmed my actions. Thank you.
