Cannot install AVG Free

I have a new Dell Inspiron notebook, and am trying to install AVG .
I get the following message:

Local machine: installation failed Installation:

Error: Action failed for file avg7core.sys: starting
service....
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the
requested service. (1450)

What kind of resources could be insufficient ?

Dell Inspiron
799 MHz
448 MB RAM

HD 52.6GB (46 GB free)

XP Home Version 2002 SP2
