Default Sharing Printer on XP Desktop with Vista Laptop

Current Setup is XP Desktop connected to wireless router through LAN
Cable, Wireless Router connected to Cable Modem. I have a Epson
Printer attached to my desktop via USB.

I have now purchased a Vista Laptop which I am trying to get to access
my printer on XP Desktop.

From Vista Laptop i can Ping Wireless Router and XP desktop, can
access internet, but stil cannot see my printer. I cannot ping from
XP desktop to Vista Laptop Though??

Both are set up with File and Printer Sharing. Both have same
workgroup names.

Does anybody have any ideas how I can get access to printer??

ANy help would be much appreciated.

If you cannot ping the Vista laptop, you probably have a personal firewall
problem.

Though there are a few other issues unique to Windows Vista, that could be
relevant.
