Default Windows Vista Explorer using 50% CPU all the time

I have task manager open and can see that Windows Explorer is using 50% cpu
all the time, this is not good. I have rebooted in safe mode and performed a
full virus scan using 2 anti virus programs. I have also scanned for spyware.
Explorer will crash on occasion and has to be restarted in task manager as a
new task under apps.

maybe you want to use ProceXP to check and see what other suspecious dll
files or exe files are executing with explorer.exe

i had similar problem on my comp as well, and i am using core 2 duo ... i
still do experience it abit, what i did was i close all the program also my
game... once the explorer finish running, the cpu usage came back down to 0
percent...

btw, i am using RC SP1 for Vista... and yes, it does has abit of that kind
of problem too... are you using SP1 ?
