epson 2450 problem with photoshop cs3 on macbook pro

I installed the lastet drivers from Epson. My 2450 works properly in
applications *other* than the most important one, PS CS3. The PS Import
menu does not have an Epson entry anywhere. It seems like this is a
Photoshop problem since the scanner works with other apps, but I thought
I'd ask in case some other CS3 user has run into problems.

Are there any scanners listed in CS3?

If not you may have to re-install Photoshop CS3. I have seen Photoshop
Elements lose the TWAIN interface, a re-install fixed it.
