Minolta Dual Scan Elite II and Vista

I need to upgrade to a new computer because the old one broke down. And
I'm considering a lot of PCs with Vista pre-installed.

Has anyone managed to get this scanner work on Windows Vista?

Vista is not exactly wonderful, so why don't you just buy your new machine,
and then install your old XP onto it, either as dual boot or instead of
Vista.
