Default Managing Codecs In Vista

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to manage codecs and filters in Vista x86
and x64?

I have basically installed a codec pack which screwed up PowereDVD
Ultra. Uninstalling the codec pack seems to have left everything
broken and therefore I need a way to manually unregister and remove a
filter or codec.

Cheers,

Gazza

What do you defines "managing codecs"? I'm interested in the feature set
you use here. =)
