Default Update error 80070643

I this error when trying to install the latest media center update
(KB941229). I've tried the solution offered on the Microsoft resource center
(make sure OSE is running) and it is. I've rebooted numerous times and tried
everything else I can think of but I keep getting the same error. Has
anybody else had this problem? Does anybody know of any other solution to
try?

Thanks,

Read over this page, it may or may not help you, but it appears a Repair
Install is the only thing that has fix this for some.

This may be an install/uninstall problem that has generated this error
message; details in the first tutorial. Alternatively, you may need to
consider your Repair Vista Options; details in the second tutorial.
