Default Flashing Window panes is a pain

When I am running the TV with other windows open the current window I am
using flashes on its edge every 2 to 5 seconds-- very annoying! It started
in the last week or two. I noticed an auto-update from MS for a cumulative
Media Center update that came in on Nov 17. The flashing stops if I exit
Media Center. I know I could uninstall the update, but I hesitate to do so.
Anyone else have this problem or a fix?

Which brand, type and model video card are you using? Have you checked the
manufacturers website for updates?
