Epson 3200 Smart Panel Problem

I have this scanner few years - it was one of these 'super' $400
items. However the Smart Panel Copy function, was working originally,
but now it crashes. I was trying to find new updates for Smart Panel,
but there is nothing on Epson web side, other that I run across note
that it is a third party software...
I tried to reinstall the original CD, but the same problem persists.
Any ideas?

Yes, forget about Smart Panel. There are plenty for other programs that will
do all of the functions that Smart Panel provided.

Smart Panel was discontinued several years ago. It was only available on the
original CD that came with the scanner.

There are some upgrades or updates for Smart Panel if you have the original
CD and have Smart Panel installed.

Smart Panel patches for the Mac are available.

Go to NewSoft and dl the latest patch to upgrade to v3.5. Notice that some
of the program buttons have dropped of as Epson has changed the underlying
programs or have discontinued them.
