Had a button and lost it. I cannot simply click on "Add Contact" to make an
entry in Windows Contacts. The button is gone. I can add a contact from Windows Mail, but if I want to make a totally new entry in Windows Contacts, I simply cannot do it. The facility button is gone. I have explored all possibilities available to me without success. And although there seemed to be a potentially worthwhile thread in this newsgroup, it petered out. I have even resorted to System Restore without any success. Again, simply stated: How do I recover the "Add Contact" button in Windows Contacts (Vista). Thank you in advance for help, encouragement, sympathy or solution. |

Here is my standard reply, which I have posted at least 4 times today.......
Your Contacts folder has apparently switched from it's proper default template. Open Contacts Right-click on a blank area of the right pane, and select "Customize this folder" in the pull-down box, select "Contacts" ok -- http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "André R." <AndrR@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:6D30FBB9-2E61-4FB5-9B4B-833DA2D68660@microsoft.com... > Had a button and lost it.
