Sometimes I want to search only for a file name without including
contents and sometimes including the contents of the file. In XP this was easy but in Vista I can't seem to find how. Am I missing something? -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

Mary,
To search for file name, precede the search term with name: for instance if you want to find the file stuff.txt, search for name:stuff.txt Michael Vista Home Premium "Mary" <nospam@thankyou.com> wrote in message news:e1hrj3dsjabrt61h6m7u0o21hl06tj0ore@4ax.com... > Sometimes I want to search only for a file name without including > contents and sometimes including the contents of the file. > > In XP this was easy but in Vista I can't seem to find how. > > Am I missing something? > > -- > Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com > |
